Robot DTI - How to calibrate machine center

If the finished wheels do not meet the set tolerances after truing, you can reset the machine's basic center position. You can independently adjust the front and rear wheel offsets.

Proceed as follows:

    1. Place an accurately trued wheel on the input side of the machine (front or rear).
    2. Navigate to the TEST menu and select TEST MACHINE SEQUENCE.
    3. Move the cursor to the line that says TURN WHEEL.
    4. Scroll down to STOP TURN WHEEL and then scroll back up to INDEX WHEEL. Press <ENTER> to index the wheel until the valve hole is pointing towards you on a horizontal line with the hub. Then press down to STOP TURN WHEEL.
    5. Press <MENU> to return to the TEST menu.
    6. Select MEASURING INSTRUMENT and press <ENTER>.
    7. Move the cursor to the line that says MM SIDE DEVIATION OFFSET = and press <ENTER> to reset it to 0.00 MM.
    8. Press <MENU> to exit the program and return to the TEST MACHINE SEQUENCE menu.
    9. Position the cursor in front of the first line and press <MENU> to leave the program.

To fine-tune the center for more accuracy:

    1. Take the same wheel and flip it (e.g., for a rear wheel, place the drive side on the right side of the machine).
    2. Place the wheel in the machine as before and go to the MEASURING INSTRUMENT program.
    3. Use the <-◄> or <►+> button to adjust the center by 0.05mm increments. For example, if the measured value is R 0.40 mm, change it to R 0.20 mm by pressing <-◄>. If the value is L 0.50 mm, change it to L 0.25 mm by pressing <►+>.
    4. IMPORTANT: Do not press <ENTER> after making this correction. Instead, leave the program by pressing <MENU>.
