[Maintenance](https://knowledgebase.hollandmechanics.com/knowledge/robot-dt?hsLang=en#maintenance) # Robot DT- Rim clamp or Rim table is overpassing the position and never stop ## During automatic mode, it can be noticed that the hub clamp and the upper table move upwards. A strange noise can be heard, and the machine does not start the automatic process.  At this point, use the stepping motor test option to better identify the cause of the problem.   From the machine's main screen, go to **Test**.  ![](https://knowledgebase.hollandmechanics.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jul-22-2026-10-29-20-8845-AM.png?width=572&height=432&name=image-png-Jul-22-2026-10-29-20-8845-AM.png)  Now go to the **test stepping motors** option.  ![](https://knowledgebase.hollandmechanics.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jul-22-2026-10-30-51-7376-AM.png?width=573&height=431&name=image-png-Jul-22-2026-10-30-51-7376-AM.png)  After entering, the next screen will appear.  ![](https://knowledgebase.hollandmechanics.com/hs-fs/hubfs/image-png-Jul-22-2026-10-34-02-9123-AM.png?width=574&height=429&name=image-png-Jul-22-2026-10-34-02-9123-AM.png)  This program is used to check that the stepping motors are operating correctly and turn in the correct direction. Place the cursor in front of the line of your choice, then press to activate the function.  Heigh rim clamp or height hub clamp  confirm with **ENTER**   An ‘\* ' will appear between the cursor and the line, indicating that the function is active. The movement can be altered in small or large steps. is used to set the smallest step, and the largest. to are intermediate steps. is the standard setting. You see that on \>\>\>\>F1\<\<\<\< This changes when you select a different step. (Example: When is selected, \>\>\>\>F5\<\<\<\< appears) The chosen step can be carried out to the left or right using \<-◄ \> or \<►+\>. You can return the motor to its starting (home) position by pressing .   When one of the selected functions is activated, you must check the sensor responsible for determining the correct stopping position of the selected function.   **Motor height rim clamp unit**  The Height Rim Clamp Unit sensor is located on the upper part, behind the table. ![](https://knowledgebase.hollandmechanics.com/hs-fs/hubfs/WhatsApp%20Image%202026-07-22%20at%2013-36-27%20(1)-jpeg.jpeg?width=469&height=834&name=WhatsApp%20Image%202026-07-22%20at%2013-36-27%20(1)-jpeg.jpeg)  If the function to lower the table is activated, it will be easy to identify.   For better visualization, there is an access point on the machine that allows the sensor to be reached.
