Lacing machine- How to identify and fix the message: "Air pressure too low"

Turn the main switch to the “ON” position. The following will happen:

  • The white voltage pilot lamp will light up.
  • The computer will start, and text will appear on the screen.
  • Press the green START button.

At this point, if there is an issue with air pressure, the machine will display a message on the screen:
"Air pressure too low"

This message only appears in the start menu when the following situations occur:

  • The compressed air is turned off.
  • The machine's air pressure does not reach 5 bar due to a leak.
  • The line air pressure is lower than the machine's air pressure.

Before starting, check the main air unit:

  • Use the test button (1) to adjust the unit.
  • Adjust the air pressure to 5 bar (2).
  • Set the Slow Start (3) to 1-2 seconds.
  • Adjust the pressure switch cutoff (4) to 3.5 bar (status LED “NO”).
  • Push-lock the setting knobs.

Pay attention to the orange light on the block.
It always turns on when we press the start button. Once pressed, this light should stay on, indicating that the pressure is at the correct level. Check if this light turns off when the machine starts. Sometimes, the machine starts but the light doesn’t turn on. If this happens, try this adjustment.

If this happens, try the following adjustment:

  • Turn the adjustment knob (2) clockwise 3 times (to increase the pressure).
  • Turn the cutoff limit adjustment knob (4) counterclockwise 3 times (to lower the cutoff pressure when there is not enough air).

Now press the start button again; the machine should work.
Afterward, readjust knob (2) back to 5 bar to maintain the correct air pressure.
