Lacing CE-A- The machine does not adjust itself to start working in function Lacing (1= lacing)

When in Function 1 (lacing), the machine does not adjust itself to the selected rim.

In this situation, it's necessary to check all the stepper motors to verify if any sensor is still working. The auto-adjust depends solely and exclusively on all the sensors. In the main menu, press 3 = Test (just look for the " Test " option )

here is possible to test all the motors responsible for the auto adjust. In case of  CE-A only the height motor is important

Place the cursor in front of the line of your choice,  pressing <-◄ > or <►+> will make the motor move, press and hold <-◄ > or <►+> makes the motor move at higher speed. You can return the motor to it's starting (home) position by pressing <START>. Pressing <STOP> will stop the motor.

Except for the Index. This function is responsible for the motor that turns the wheel in the machine. If you press the button to activate this function, it will only rotate, and in the position, it's possible to see if the index is turning 1000 units per activation.

Use the start button to move all the motors to the home position. You should be able to see the motor turning the respective part and moving to the home position until the sensor activates.

If during this process you hear a loud sound similar to a motor being forced and nothing is moving, check which of these motors was commanded to return to the home position and check :

  • verify if there's a possible break in the motor's toothed belt
  • Verify if the motor is damaged / stuck bearing/ damage to the motor axle
  • Verify the Sensor  (broken or out of the position)
     

Height ( important in CE-A and CD-A ):

The height table (3) will move down and activate sensor 2, indicating that the height is in the home position.

Support ( CD-A machine ):

The endless bolt (4) will move the support until the sensor number 3 

Diameter ( CD-A machine):

The endless bolt will turn until the diameter support reach the sensor 

Deep V ( CD-A machine) :

The whole motor unity ( screwdriver) will move to the back until reach the sensor (4)
