Lacing Machine- Sudden change of tightness.

The machine was operating normally, but from one day to the next, it became necessary to adjust all its rotations because it is no longer delivering, with the same material, uniformly as before.

First, check if there is any nonconformity with the material, spoke size, or nipple. Also, verify if the hub has been properly filled ( F1 or F2) and check the position of the hub support.

The most important thing right now is to check the needle and screwdriver distance. The machine itself has a special tool to verify the correct distance. We always send a key with the machine. Use it to check the needle distance.

The key has two steps: the last step is responsible for the needle distance, while the middle step is for the screwdriver distance. The measurement needs to be exact. If there is any difference, you will face issues with tightening variation. The first symptom will be that you previously worked with a specific rotation, but now you need to change it because it is no longer compatible.

In the lacing menu, there is an option 9 = Compensation. Keep this compensation set to Yes; otherwise, it will cause issues.
