To adjust the nipple container, on the main menu press option 3 (test). Just look for the "test'' option, your machine might indicate number 4 as test. Pay attention to it.
then press option 7 (nipple container).
Now it's time to test:
Fill up the nipple container with nipples and test the container without the nipple transport hose connected. Position the plastic container underneath the transfer pipe and press <START>. The machine will start the test cycle. Check if nipples keep coming continuously and the rail remains at least 50% full. If nipples get obstructed somewhere, make fine adjustments in that location:
- Check if the cylinder click system (1) is functioning properly. Adjust the spring bolts (2) if necessary.
- Remove the closing plate from the front of the container to access the rails and shovel (6).
- Inspect the width adjustment of the nipple guide rails (3). The rails should be parallel with a 4.5mm gap for standard nipples. As a reference, a 4mm Allen key should fit snugly in the gap.
- Ensure that the nipples slide down smoothly. If they don't, use fine-grade sandpaper to polish the leading edges of the rails.
- Verify that the nipple slot (4) aligns with the rails. Adjust using the piston rod (5) if needed.
- Position the nipple shovel in the upper position. Check if the rails (3) align with the shovel (6). Lower the rail unit as much as possible using the adjustment bracket underneath. The ends of the rails must touch the front plate of the nipple container.
- Check the height of the shovel (6) in relation to the rails. The shovel should be at the same height as the rails or no more than 0.5mm higher. Adjust with the piston rod (7) if necessary.
- With the shovel in the upper position, reinstall the closing plate. Adjust it as low as possible while still allowing the nipples to pass through.
- Adjust the guide plate (8) so that the nipples can just pass into the transfer pipe. The easiest way to check this is to slide the system manually without air pressure on the cylinder
• Close nipple rail cover with latch (1) and adjust knops (2) in such a way that nipples can still pass, but not so high that nipples stack on top of each other.
Now you can put the nipple transport hose back and test for 20 minutes. Do not forget to remove nipples from the screwdriver by hand to avoid nipples getting stuck in the nipple block!
If the machine is equipped with a second nipple container, select this container and repeat this procedure.
Press Menu > option test might be number 3 or 4 > then 7 nipple container and repeat this procedure from the beginning.
