# Windows Automatic Repair Infinite Loop

## The machine enters an infinite loop of automatic repair. This issue can affect all machines using this touch screen.

- Click **Advanced options**

- Next, follow these steps: Select **Troubleshoot** \> **Advanced options** \> **Command Prompt**.

- In the Command Prompt window, type the command and press Enter: **chkdsk c: /r**

- If the **chkdsk** command fails, you can also try using the Fixboot command. In the same Command Prompt window, enter the following command and press Enter: **fixboot c:**

- Once you are finished, close the Command Prompt window and restart your PC.
