Different hubs require different hub supports. With the machine come four types of standard supports:
• 8mm threaded axle
• 9mm threaded axle
• 10mm threaded axle
• Quick release axle
When installing the hub support two settings are important for smooth operation of the lacing process:
• Height of the support.
• Position of the support in relation to the
hub.
set the height of the support put a complete and centered wheel in the machine. Use setting screw (A) to adjust the support about 3-8mm below the hub (see picture). The support may not push the wheel upward during lacing.
In some cases the position of the hub support in relation the hub changes. The support should always push the wheel in the direction of the screwdriver for about 4mm in order to ensure contact between nipple and screwdriver. To change the position use bolt (B).
